USF's student government president continued down the mea culpa trail today, with an apology letter to the full student body in the daily Oracle newspaper. On Tuesday, he asked his government colleagues for forgiveness, too. But forgiveness might not spare Barclay Harless, who could lose his post if the results of an investigation into whether he violated the school's alcohol policy don't turn his way. (See previous post here and today's Times story here.) In his letter, Harless not only apologizes, he also says he's using the situation to become a better leader. If he gets to remain one.
