Speak your mind on Pasco boundary plan
Committee work done, proposed new boundaries for the middle and high schools in eastern Pasco County next go to the public for review and comment.
The parents and staff members who drafted the plans will be available to explain their recommendations and answer questions tonight beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Wesley Chapel High School, and again on Dec. 7 at Stewart Middle School.
The proposals include shifting students out of Wesley Chapel High, Weightman Middle, Wiregrass Ranch High and John Long Middle. Schools to receive students include Wesley Chapel and Pasco high schools, Weightman, Pasco and Stewart middle schools. At least one board member has said she will attend to listen.
The board is expected to have its first reading on the boundaries later this month and the final reading in January.
