State Sen. John Thrasher joins Senate education committee
Former Florida House Speaker John Thrasher, who helped design Jeb Bush's overhaul of the state's education system (reportedly on a cocktail napkin), is the newest member of the state Senate's PreK-12 education committee. He's also been assigned to higher ed appropriations.
