Tampa Bay racks up 119 National Merit semifinalists
The Tampa Bay area is home to 119 of this year's National Merit Scholarship semifinalists, including 84 from public schools, according to a list released this morning. Of the 16,000 or so nationwide, 33 are from Pinellas, 73 are from Hillsborough, 10 are from Pasco and two are from Hernando. The full list of semifinalists from Florida is attached below.
