Teachers union argues class-size case before Supreme Court



TAMPA -- Lawyers from the Florida Education Association faced tough questions today in their Supreme Court effort to get the Amendment 8 class-size question tossed off the Nov. 2 ballot.

A lower court has already ruled that the amendment's language is sufficiently clear, but the union insists it does a poor job of explaining the measure's potential impact. A ruling is expected within a few weeks.
