Three new F schools swapped in on list of teacher evaluation pilot in Pinellas
Add Fairmount Park, Lakewood and Woodlawn elementary schools to the list of 15 Pinellas County campuses where teachers will be subject to a newly piloted teacher evaluation.
Superintendent Julie Janssen is asking the board members on Tuesday to swap those three schools in on the list -- and to remove Campbell Park, Lealman Avenue and Walsingham elementary schools from the list.
The piloted system will include student performance and peer review. Janssen has said she hopes to take it district-wide in 2011-12.
The board will vote on tailoring the list during its 10 a.m. meeting.
Other schools already included: Boca Ciega High, Dixie Hollins High, Gibbs High, Lakewood High, Azalea Middle, Bay Point Middle, John Hopkins Middle, Pinellas Park Middle, Gulfport Elementary, Melrose Elementary, New Heights Elementary and Sandy Lane Elementary.
