Tony Bennett spreads his education agenda as he makes the rounds

25

January

Tony Bennett certainly hasn't been shy about sharing his pro-choice, pro-testing philosophy since taking the helm of the Florida Department of Education two weeks ago. He's spoken his mind to legislative committees, made school appearances and visited with several media outlets, adhering closely to the talking points he has shared since the State Board of Education appointed him.

If you want to hear more of what he's got to say, you can check out two of the latest interviews online. He fielded questions for nearly half an hour on 100.7 WFLA Tallahassee talk radio last Friday, and today the Florida Channel posted a 27-minute interview with Bennett on its Florida Face to Face program.

What's your take on the new commissioner? How's he doing so far?
