Sherry Congratulations to Sherry L. Aemisegger. The McMullen-Booth Elementary assistant principal has been honored as the state's 2007 outstanding assistant principal for elementary schools.

The award, established in 1997, goes to assistant principals who use teamwork and leadership to improve student achievement, promote safe learning environments and foster partnerships with parents and the community.

Aemisegger is the only administrator from outside Miami-Dade County to win recognition this year. She's been the school's assistant principal since 1998. McMullen-Booth Elementary has been an A-rated school since 1999, when school grading began.
