Sure, some teachers, parents and students consider FCAT a four-letter word, or at least use some profane adjectives to describe it. Today, Jeb Bush's Foundation for Florida's Future sent out an e-mail offering up some facts about the test, which has been given to students all week and continues next week. The first thing it does is seek to separate Jeb from the test's creation: "True or False: Jeb Bush was Governor when the first FCAT was given?" (False, it was Lawton Chiles.)
