UF rakes in more rankings: this time for "contributing to the common good"
According to Washington Monthly magazine, UF is 28th on a list of schools ranked on how they contribute to society -- recruiting and graduating low-income students, producing good science and PhDs, and providing service. Florida A&M is also on that list, coming in at 82. Florida State was just a few short of the top 100, at 106.
But don't feel too bad, Noles. You still beat the Gators in another ranking: a list of the colleges with the most beautiful campuses and most attractive students. The Gainesville Sun tells us this week that UF placed 5th in the Newsweek and the Daily Beast rankings. FSU placed 4th.
