USF president Judy Genshaft appointed to national board
University of South Florida president Judy Genshaft is one of 13 new members of the national board of the Fund for the Improvement of Postsecondary Education (FIPSE), a unit within the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Postsecondary Education.
The board will advise US Education secretary Arne Duncan on priorities for improving higher education and suggest programs with demonstrated success. It also will help set guidelines for grant competitions.
