USF Student Government and Tampa City Council to host town hall meeting

Considering that less than one half of one percent of registered University of South Florida student voters cast ballots in the last city election, this event seems like a pretty good idea.

On Tuesday night, USF's Student Government and Tampa's City Council will together hold a town hall forum in the Marshall Student Center. Discussion topics will include economic development, job opportunities for graduates, and ways to get involved in local government, according to a USF news release. The event is free and open to the public, and it starts at 5:30 p.m.
