The v-word



First, school librarians sought to ban an award-winning children's book because it included the word "scrotum." Next, a California high school disciplined a student, who is suing, for saying "That's so gay." Now, the New York Times reports about a New York high school that has suspended three girls for reciting passages from The Vagina Monologues. Is it censorship? Or the protection of young minds? Where should schools draw the line?
