Want to give state lawmakers an earful about what's happening to your school? Or just give 'em a pat on the back? In Pinellas, you'll have a chance to do that in coming weeks with a series of meet-your-legislator events organized by the Pinellas Council Council of PTAs. Here's the schedule:

Oct. 10: Rep. Kriseman at Sexton Elementary, 6-7:30 p.m.

Oct. 11: Rep. Ahern at Cross Bayou Elementary, 6-7 p.m.

Oct. 13: Rep. Frishe at Largo High, 6-7 p.m.

Oct. 24: Rep. Nehr at Brooker Creek Elementary, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Oct. 25: Rep. Hooper at McMullen-Booth Elementary, 5:30-7 p.m.

Oct. 27: Sen. Latvala at Paul B. Stephens Exceptional Student Education Center, 5:30-7 p.m. (tentative)

Nov. 9: Sen. Fasano at Carwise Middle School, 5:30-7 p.m.

Nov. 11: Rep. Brandes at Shore Acres Elementary (he'll be attending a gift of giving event, and addressing the audience from 6:15-6:45 p.m.)
