What's on your class wish list?
It's that time of year again when teachers put out their class supply lists, soon to be followed by their wish lists. We expect those wish lists to be even bigger this year, as cash-strapped districts scale back the extras they pay for.
Parents in some districts, such as Pasco, also face fees structure for the coming academic year, mostly to cover the costs associated with consumables such as art supplies.
First, just a reminder. Fees and school supply lists and the like are not required. That in mind, we're interested in what you're seeing that's unusual or different.
Are schools still asking for students to bring baby wipes and thumb drives? Have they stopped offering credit for reams of paper?
