As required by law, the Florida Department of Education has released the 2016 spring results for the Florida Standards Assessments, end-of-course exams and remaining FCAT tests.

This year is the first time learning gains can be determined under the new tests, which took effect under fire a year ago.

"Even with a higher bar, Florida students continued the overall trend of increased performance year over year," commissioner Pam Stewart said in a released statement.

See all the data on the department website. Paper reports to parents aren't due out for a couple of weeks.
