Grego to present the State of Education next week



Superintendent Mike Grego will speak next week about the State of Education in Pinellas County.

The superintendent's rountable luncheon will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Stavros Institute in Largo. The event, which costs $25 to attend, was organized by the Pinellas Education Foundation.

Grego will be on a panel, which also includes St. Petersburg Mayor Bill Foster, School Board Chairwoman Carol Cook, U.S. Congressman Gus Bilirakis, R-Fl, and State Representative Larry Ahern, R-St. Petersburg. The opening speaker will be foundation chairman Jim Myers.
