More Pinellas administrators switch jobs

Superintendent Michael Grego has been shaking up leadership lately, a movement that continued Tuesday when he announced three more transfers.

LaSonya Moore, assistant principal at Oak Grove Middle, is becoming the assistant principal of Bay Point Middle School.

Antelia Campbell, the district's managing officer for middle school education, is heading to Oak Grove to fill Moore's spot.

Kathleen Young Parker, director of elementary education, will become the principal of Cypress Woods Elementary.

School board member Terry Krassner aimed to reassure everyone that transfers often aren't the result of dissatisfaction.

"For a lot of positions it had nothing to do with whether they were successful," Krassner said. "We just needed them in a different place."

She added that school staff will try to integrate all the new positions before the year starts. "There's a lot of team-building going on," she said.
