More principal changes in Hillsborough
The next Hillsborough County School Board meeting is a week away but, for now, the district plans to name three new principals.
F-rated Potter Elementary has been designated as an "Elevate" school, a classification formerly called "priority" schools. When that happens, principals can apply to keep their jobs, with no guarantee they will be allowed to stay.
Philip Shore Elementary which is also due for an appointment Tuesday, lost its last principal, Jaime Gerding, to Booker T. Washington, where the district replaced former principal Anthony Montoto.
