New principals, ESE chief in Hillsborough
Robert Bhoolai will be the new principal of Robinson High School, replacing Johnny Bush; and Jennifer Sparano will become the new principal of Brandon High School, replacing the retiring Carl Green.
Bhoolai, 33, joined the district in 2007 as a teacher at Turkey Creek Middle School. He was then a teacher and administrator at Mann Middle, Spoto High and, most recently, Williams Magnet Middle School.
Sparano, 44, joined the district in 1998 as a dropout prevention specialist and reading resource teacher in the district's alternative education division. She was then a teacher and assistant principal at King, East Bay and Tampa Bay Technical high schools.
Kimberly Workman replaces the retiring Maryann Parks as general director of Exceptional Student Education. Workman has worked for the ESE department since 2005. Her last position was supervisor of instructional support and assessment.
