Arguably one of the best math teachers in Hillsborough County heard what people were saying about the College Board's SpringBoard curriculum and had this to say to the Hillsborough County School Board, Superintendent Jeff Eakins and a reporter from the Tampa Bay Times:

My name is Kelly Zunkiewicz and I am in my ninth year of teaching at Lennard High School. I currently teach Pre-Calculus (with Springboard) and AP Calculus and am also one of the Mathematics Instructional Coaches. I have taught courses from Algebra 1 to AP Calculus and been through several curriculum and textbook adoptions. I am one of the top teachers in Hillsborough County, having won the Fishman Prize for Superlative Classroom Practice in 2014, among other awards, and currently being a finalist for the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching.

My students and I would like to invite you to our classroom at Lennard High School to experience what Springboard  can and should look like. I have used Springboard since being available to us and consistently have top district exams scores. My Pre-Calculus students have been first in the county for the past three years, beating the district average by more than 20 points.
