North Pinellas League of Women Voters to host School Board candidate forum



Mark your calendars for another face-off between Pinellas County School Board candidates.

All nine candidates are accepted invitations to attend the forum Aug. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. at St. Petersburg College's Tarpon Springs campus, 600 Klosterman Road in the fine arts building, room 132, located between the Leepa-Rattner Museum and Michael Bennett Library.

Hosted by the North Pinellas County League of Women Voters, the forum will be entirely led by questions submitted by the audience. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. for voter registration, and audience members can submit their questions at the door.

This debate will follow another candidate forum held at SPC's Seminole Campus, 9200 113 St North, on Aug. 2. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the debate will begin at 6:30 p.m. This debate, sponsored by SPC, Florida Parent Teacher Association and the Pinellas Education Foundation, will be moderated by Tampa Bay Times education editor Thomas C. Tobin.
