Pasco County student report cards again delayed

Pasco County parents and students expecting their report cards on Friday will have to wait even longer.

The school district's software vendor continues to have trouble with the new data system, which has led to errors that officials do not want to release. High schools found problems with credit calculations, for example.

The report cards were already three days late, due out Tuesday but postponed to give schools more time to review the grades. Now, there's no set date for distribution.

"We're working with the vendor to straighten it out," district spokeswoman Linda Cobbe said. "They'll be working over the weekend to get it resolved."
