Pasco school district schedules parent meetings on magnet schools



Two Pasco County middle schools will become STEM magnet schools in the fall. To get parents and students information before the application season begins, the district has scheduled several information sessions. The dates and locations are as follows:

For Bayonet Point Middle
January 11: River Ridge Middle School media center, 11646 Town Center Road, New Port Richey
January 12: Seven Springs Middle School cafeteria, 2441 Little Road, New Port Richey
January 13: Paul R. Smith Middle School cafeteria, 1410 Sweetbriar Dr., Holiday
January 19: Fivay High School cafeteria, 12115 Chicago Ave., Hudson

For Centennial Middle
January 11: Raymond B. Stewart Middle School cafeteria, 38505 10th Ave., Zephyrhills
January 12: Pasco Middle School auditorium, 3925 14th St., Dade City
January 13: Thomas E. Weightman Middle School cafeteria, 30649 Wells Road, Wesley Chapel
January 19: Dr. John Long Middle School cafeteria, 2025 Mansfield Blvd., Wesley Chapel
January 20: Centennial Middle School cafeteria, 38505 Centennial Road, Dade City
January 21: Chester W. Taylor Elementary School cafeteria, 3638 Morris Bridge Road, Zephyrhills

The superintendent, the magnet school principals, and district staff will discuss the STEM magnet theme and programs that will be offered at each school.
