Pasco superintendent names three principals
Pasco schools superintendent Kurt Browning has appointed principals for three schools, with plans to ask the School Board to approve the moves on May 21. Two of the leaders have been running their schools for a few months, on an interim basis, while one is filling a vacancy created only a week ago. They are:
• Aimee Boltze, Connerton Elementary — Boltze took over the school after spring break, replacing Anna Falcone, who faces termination over accusations of insubordination. Boltze was in charge of teacher evaluations at the district level before taking the job, and also was director of employee development before that.
• Kari Kadlub, Pasco High — Kadlub replaced Pat Reedy, who retired at the end of December. She had been assistant principal at Pasco, and before that at Wiregrass Ranch and Zephyrhills high schools.
• Robyn White, Wiregrass Ranch High — White takes the place of Ray Bonti, who was promoted to executive director for support services earlier this month. She was the lead assistant principal at Wiregrass Ranch under Bonti, and has been running the school since he moved to the district office.
All the appointments are scheduled to become effective May 22. The board is asked for its approval, but that is mostly a ceremonial exercise as its only authorized reason to block a job candidate is if the candidate does not meet the qualifications. Several other elementary schools, including Seven Oaks, Hudson, Lacoochee and Pine View, still need new principal assignments because of resignations and transfers.
