Pasco superintendent urges staff to send him e-mails
Pasco schools superintendent Kurt Browning knows that he and his leadership team don't have all the answers.
That's why he's in the middle of launching a new online suggestion box for employees and others to submit their thoughts on how to improve the school district. He told the staff in a welcome back video that they should feel safe voicing their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation.
"If there is an area where we can improve our supports, you need to let me know," Browning said, stressing that the people in the schools and departments best understand the reality of their situation.
Browning also made clear that the new school year, which began for teachers on Monday, will be a time to adjust.
"After more than a year of significant transition, I am happy to say that we don't plan any major changes this year," he said, pledging stability as the district aims for greater success.
