Pinellas to hire new assistant board attorney

The School Board is expected to vote Tuesday to hire Heather Wallace as assistant school board attorney. Wallace is in the same role at Lee County Schools and has seven years of experience in
David Koperski created the opening in August when he was promoted to school board attorney. Koperski earned about $106,000 as an associate counsel, but had worked for the school district for seven years. He makes about $152,000 as board attorney.
If approved, the contract with Wallace will expire in June, 2014.
