Pokemon Go hits one Pasco County school's teacher training
The Pokemon Go craze has made its mark in Pasco County schools, where Schwettman Education Center has created planning activities around the popular game.
But teachers won't be seeking the legendary (and unavailable) Articuno, or the ever-popular Pikachu. During training events called Schwettemon Go and Achievemon Go, the staff will use QM codes to hunt down items including the 1,000-point Superemon.
Fashioned with superintendent Kurt Browning's photo, the elusive Superemon is infused with Dark Energy and has a weakness against Fighting. Holding the special ability of leading large systems, he evolves from Politics into the Level 2 version, Ray Gadd.
Browning, who received a copy of his special card from the school via email, took the idea with humor.
"Really??" he responded, adding three smiling emojis for emphasis. "Thanks for sharing."
Gotta catch 'em all.
