Tentative agreements ratified in Pinellas by teachers, support professionals
Teachers and support professionals in Pinellas County have signed off on the tentative agreements reached with the school district.
Of teachers who voted, eighty-three percent ratified an agreement that gives them a 5.6 percent raise on average. Of support professionals who voted, 96 percent were in favor of the agreement.
Support professionals will receive a 5 percent raise on average.
Of about 7,800 teachers in the school district, just 3,818 voted. That's a little less than half. The percentage was similar for the Pinellas Educational Support Professionals Assocation. Of about 2,500 support professionals, 1,285 voted.
