Turnaround achievement breakfast on Monday
Pinellas County Schools plans to have an awards breakfast for students who have made a significant effort to improve their life.
Students, who were selected by principals and the faculty, might have improved their behavior or attitude, overcome drug problems or improved their academic standing. The Turnaround Achievement Award goes to a student in each school who has made the biggest change. The breakfast is at 7:30 a.m. Monday at Banquet Masters, 8100 Park Blvd, Pinellas Park.
The event is being held with Pinellas County Schools' dropout prevention program and The Krauss Family's Seminole and Sunrise Lanes.
