Two high school principals and an ESE chief will be named Tuesday in Hillsborough

Three high profile appointments are expected at Tuesday's Hillsborough County School Board meeting -- two high school principals and a general director for exceptional student education.

Replacements will be named for Brandon High School principal Carl Green, 62, who is retiring this year after 19 years with the district; and Robinson High School principal Johnny Bush, who was named recently as the district's general manager of professional standards. Bush, 53, has also been with the district since 1997.

Also expected is a new ESE chief to replace Maryann Parks, who is retiring after 35 years. Parks, 59, took over at an especially difficult time for the department. Two students died in 2012, both while they were under the care and supervision of school distict employees. Both cases resulted in lawsuits. Parks replaced Joyce Wieland, the prior ESE manager, in April of 2013 and oversaw the safety and training improvements that followed.

Tuesday's meeting begins at 3 p.m.
