USF Foundation names new VP
The University of South Florida Foundation has named Steve Blair vice president for development.
Blair, former associate vice president for health development at USF, will begin working with the university's fundraising arm as the school sets forth on a quest to raise $1 billion in the second leg of its Unstoppable campagin. Blair was chosen from a nationwide search and will oversee all USF fundraising efforts including health and athletics. In his last job, USF officials said Tuesday, Blair oversaw $20 million in annual fundraising for the university's health endeavors. Before that, he was vice president for institutional advancement at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation and executive director of the University of California San Diego Sulpizio Cardiovascular Center.
“Steve impressed the search committee with his dedication to USF and his strong track record in fundraising," Joel Momberg, CEO of the USF Foundation, said in a statement.
