Baseball: Calvary Christian's Graham Hoffman commits to USF
Calvary Christian junior shortstop/pitcher Graham Hoffman has committed to the University of South Florida, according to head coach Greg Olsen.
As a sophomore, Hoffman hit .366 in 82 at-bats. He had nine doubles and 23 RBIs. Hoffman was also used as a closer by the Warriors. He pitched 15 innings and had a 1.37 ERA with 27 strikeouts and two saves.
Hoffman is the second Calvary underclassman to commit to a Division I-A school. Sophomore catcher Matheu Nelson committed to Florida State in May.
Last season, Calvary Christian was 21-8 and advanced to the region semifinals against Indian Rocks Christian.
