Lots of chatter on our site recently about FHSAA suspensions. I want to ask about one.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano’s son, Joe, was handed a six-game suspension for saying a potty word to an official. His appeal was denied earlier this week.
I think most people would agree that players shouldn’t swear at referees. But what’s a fair punishment?
Is six games too much? Too little? Just right? What factors should go into the FHSAA's suspensions?
