The weirdest part about this AP story in the Louisville Courier-Journal is that another state has already sanctioned bass fishing as a high school sport. That state? Illinois.
I went to college in Illinois. In four years in the Land of Lincoln, I can’t say I ever heard anyone talk about bass fishing, but whatever.
