Speculating on new football classifications with FHSAA's updated data

28

November

The FHSAA released its list of enrollment figures from this fall.

FloridaHSFootball.com broke down the numbers and gave some initial estimates on what schools will be in what football class. You can see the site’s full projections here, but here are some of the highlights:

Plant and East Lake would move from Class 8A to 7A

Strawberry Crest and Sickles would move from 6A to 7A

Wiregrass Ranch would stay in 7A

Chamberlain would move from 7A to 6A

Blake would move from 5A to 6A

Fivay and Robinson would stay in 5A but would be two of the three largest schools in that class

River Ridge, Hernando, Nature Coast, Central and Tarpon Springs would move from 6A to 5A

Weeki Wachee would move from 4A to 5A

Ridgewood, Hudson and Middleton would be three of the four smallest schools in 5A
