A Texas high school has a jumbotron larger than my apartment. Seriously.
Forgive another Texas infusion into the blog...but get a look at another Texas-sized monstrosity in high school football.
Carthage is building a $750,000 jumbotron for its football team, which has three state titles in the last five years. Here's the story from the News-Journal in Longview.
The paper reports that the new screen is 26 feet high and 44 feet wide. That's almost 1,200 square feet, and larger than my New Tampa apartment. Wow.
