Spring game-breakers: Zephyrhills played stingy defense in only allowing 100 total yards and 23 rushing yards. ... The Bulldogs recorded nine sacks on the evening. Zander Lemay recorded four sacks and Sterlin Williams had three sacks and a fumble recovery for a touchdown that capped the scoring. Mikhael Morrell had a pick in the second quarter. Tre Starks had a fumble recovery in the third that set up the Bulldogs' only offensive touchdown drive from their own 49 in the third. ... Five plays later Myles Carter (13 carries, 50 yards) took a handoff and darted up the middle for a 15-yard touchdown for 10-2 lead.
... Kareem Mehrab kicked two extra points and 21-yard field goal. ... The only Crystal River score was a bad snap by the Bulldogs over the punter that went out of the back of the end zone.
