A gaggle of 'Star Wars' sequel rumors involving Las Cruces, Saoirse Ronan and Benedict Cumberbatch
It's been a good long while since we've had a dose of Star Wars rumors, so let's check in on the latest with that. It seems Latino-Review.com, the site that has broken so much other news on the upcoming sequel trilogy, has some location and casting information. Unfortunately, Disney still hasn't announced remaking the prequels so they're worth watching.
First up is news that Episodes VII, VIII and IX may have some scenes shot in or around Las Cruces, N.M. They were no doubt inspired by Vince Gilligan's love affair with the Albuquerque area on Breaking Bad.
Next, they say that The Lovely Bones actress Saoirse Ronan has been in meetings to play a character, even after skipping out on the role of Scarlet Witch for The Avengers: Age of Ultron. There was no word on what her read was for, but we can all speculate about it.
Finally, speaking of speculation, the site swears up and down that despite his numerous denials, Benedict Cumberbatch really will be in all three sequels. The say that since Cumberbatch lied about being Khan in Star Trek: Into Darkness, he's simply lying about this, too. Who knew people in Hollywood lied about things?
