Outspoken vegan mom Alicia Silverstone has announced she's starting a breast milk sharing program, inspired by the plight of a woman unable to feed her infant. Just wait until the FDA gets wind of this one.

Citing the anecdote of a vegan mother who couldn't produce enough milk after a breast reduction surgery, Silverstone said on her blog she will allow women to request milk on her website,

"Because we are a community of beautiful souls who recognize the importance of food as health, I say we help support those mamas and babies who need a hand during one of the most important times in their lives," Silverstone wrote. "It's why I'm starting the Kind Mama Milk Share, a way for moms to connect with other moms in their area. If you have milk to share -- post it! If you are in need of milk -- post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!"

Silverstone is the same mom who raised eyebrows and curled lips for posting a video of her prechewing her son Bear Blu's food for him. We'll leave the opinions about the breast milk share up to you.
