Anne Hathaway joins Matthew McConaughey on Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar'
Fresh off her Oscar for Les Miserables, Anne Hathaway has agreed to continue surrounding herself with star power by joining Matthew McConaughey for Christopher Nolan's latest project, Interstellar. Don't ask anyone what the movie is about, though, because no one is spilling the beans.
Deadline.com notes in revealing Hathaway's participation that the project has been in the works since 2006, when Steven Spielberg set it up under DreamWorks when Paramount owned it. The site postulates that the script, written by Christopher's brother Jonah Nolan, is about Caltech physicist Kip S. Thorne's theories of using wormholes for time travel.
Furthermore, when Spielberg left Interstellar, Nolan signed up and merged the movie's idea with one of his own. Whatever that is remains to be seen, but it has to be better than what Brad Pitt has apparently done with World War Z.
