Barbara Walters' daughter Jacqueline Danforth arrested for DUI
Barbara Walters' grown daughter is still causing trouble, getting arrested in Collier County on Sunday for DUI. Well, you knew there was a Florida connection there, of course.
Jacqueline Danforth, 44, was caught by the county sheriff near Naples and was released on $1,000 bail, TMZ reports. There aren't any other details at the moment.
Danforth was adopted as an infant by Walters and her ex-husband Lee Guber in 1968 (the couple divorced in 1976). She had some rough years as a teenager, doing drugs and getting into trouble. She had cleaned up and was running a trouble girls program in Maine for awhile, the site says, but that seems to be over.
Walters featured her daughter's issues in her biography and some TV specials, so this is a heck of a retirement gift for mom. The site said Walters had no comment.
