After eight years playing every funny character on Saturday Night Live, Bill Hader is hanging it up. That is one departure Mrs. Juice* is really not going to like.

“It was a hard decision, but it has to happen at some point,” the 34-year-old told the New York Times. “It got to a point where I said, ‘Maybe it’s just time to go.’ ” Saturday's season finale will be his last show.

Seth Meyers is already leaving to take over for Jimmy Fallon on Late Night, but Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis are on the bubble, too. Lorne Michaels told the Times he didn't know if those two had made up their minds about leaving.

"I think they’re making their decisions and we’ll know soon enough," Michaels said. “I’ve said what I wanted to say to both. You never keep anybody there who doesn’t want to be there, and there is a right time to leave, but it’s more about where they are in their lives.”

Hader said the departures of Andy Samberg and Kristen Wiig were part of his reasoning, but his family wants to move to L.A., anyway. His wife, The To Do List writer and director Maggie Carey, is the one who's really busy. Good thing he slept with her to get a part!
