This may just be a small announcement, but X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer has announced that Peter Dinklage has joined the cast, although he didn't say for what role. Who cares? He's the biggest little man on Game of Thrones as it is.

"Officially like to welcome #PeterDinklage from #GameOfThrones to #XMEN #DaysofFuturePast Very very excited!" Singer tweeted Wednesday night. The 4-foot-5 actor is joining a cast that includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart.

There's quite a bit of speculation about the role Dinklage will get, with opinions ranging from Puck to M.O.D.O.K., but our bet is the obvious Avengers tie-in, Ant-Man. He did some stuff with the X-Men, right?
