Singer and Voice mentor Cee-Lo Green was hit with a drug charge Monday, and he probably couldn't be happier. That's because he wasn't charged with sexually assaulting a 33-year-old woman, since the police didn't have enough evidence.

Green (nee Thomas DeCarlo Callaway) was charged with furnishing a controlled substance after putting Molly in a woman's drink in July 2012, the L.A. Times reports. The woman accused the singer of raping her after she woke up naked in his bed.

Green, 39, had denied the allegations and went through two rounds of LAPD investigations. TMZ says the cops couldn't prove criminal intent when Green gave the woman ecstasy, because they had been dating and had been intimate before. She had claimed to have a recording of Cee-Lo admitting what he did, but it turned out all he did was reference the drug, leading to the one charge.
