Chris Brown entered rehab for anger management after getting out of jail
We didn't follow up with Chris Brown's camp after his assault charge in D.C. was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor Monday, but we wish we had: Breezy went and checked into a rehab center for anger management on Tuesday, his people announced late that night (late for Florida, anyway). Boy, talk about closing the barn door after the horse has bolted.
"Chris Brown has elected to enter a rehab facility," the singer's people told E! in a statement. "His goal is to gain focus and insight into his past and recent behavior, enabling him to continue the pursuit of his life and his career from a healthier vantage point."
Attorney Mark Geragos dropped him off at the unnamed facility in Malibu on Tuesday. TMZ said Brown met with L.A. County probation officials after flying back to Los Angeles. The site speculates the probation department is liable to find him guilty of violating parole in his 2009 manhandling of Rihanna, which could land him in prison for up to four years. They'd better move fast and do something big to show he's sorry and working on it, then, like enter rehab or something.
