Chris Brown released from D.C. jail, charge reduced to misdemeanor assault
The justice system just loves some Chris Brown, because the performer on Monday had his felony assault charge reduced to a misdemeanor, TMZ reports. He pleaded not guilty and was released without bail.
The site says there was a discrepancy in accounts as to who actually punched the alleged victim in the face early Sunday morning in Washington, D.C. The police report said it was Brown's bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, who hit the man.
And of course, there's still no word whether the fight was over the man photobombing a photo of Chris with two female fans, or if the alleged victim had been trying to board Breezy's tour bus. The judge said Brown didn't have to take a drug test, but did order him to stay 100 yards away from the other guy. We'll see how that shakes out in the next few weeks.
