Connie Britton says she'd work on a 'Friday Night Lights' movie
While all of you Kickstarter fans are awaiting your Veronica Mars movie, Nashville star Connie Britton wants everyone to know she's totally on board with Friday Night Lights getting the big-screen treatment. Not that it's a thing, you know, just that hey, maybe she'd be in it.
"I would love it to happen. I'm a big supporter of it happening. I don't know if we will see it or not." she told E! at the White House Correspondents' dinner Saturday. "I know it was being written and (director) Peter Berg is really serious about so I think if everybody got on board, I don't see why we couldn't have a movie."
We also read Deadline report he's working on a movie about hockey player Derek Boogaard, who died at 28 from mixing alcohol with the pain pills he was addicted to from fighting in the NHL so much. Such lighthearted fare after the failure that was Battleship!
