'30 Rock' appears headed to a seventh season on NBC

Alec Baldwin has hinted at it before, but it looks like 30 Rock will return to NBC for one final season. The catch: Lucky No. 7 will be a short season of 13 or 14 episodes. That's better than nothing. says it appears the whole cast and producers Jack Burditt, Josh Siegal and Dylan Morgan are all aboard, so a final deal will ikely be pulled together soon. Fellow NBC comedites Parks and Recreation, Community and Up All Night are likely up for short renewals, as well, the site says. That's so the network can find more new comedies, because you can't help but laugh at NBC these days.

Not so lucky is first-season show Whitney, starring comedian Whitney Cummings. That really should be a surprise; she should have considered marrying Alex on the show, after all.
