Al Gore accused of sexually attacking Oregon masseuse
"Al Gore Sex Attack" are not four words we would normally put together, but that's the headline on the latest edition of the National Enquirer. The rag says the former vice president has been accused of sexually attacking a masseuse in Portland, Ore., just the sort of liberal stronghold Gore would naturally visit. For shame!
The Enquirer says it has confirmed Gore was in town on Oct. 24, 2006, the date of the alleged attack, and indeed had a $540 massage bill. That's a lot of hands-on treatment. However, no criminal charges were brought against Gore, although rumor has it wife Tipper was leaving him because of liaisons with "a gorgeous massage therapist."
The 54-year-old woman's name is being withheld by the tabloid, saying that she's a possible sex-crime victim after Gore's "unwanted sexual contact" at an area hotel. That's rich; the National Enquirer displaying scruples? Next they'll say that the woman woman saved her pants as evidence. Oh wait, they did. Wow, we really hope this doesn't turn out to be true.
